Q&A with Magen Haley

Were your athletic as a kid growing up? If so, what sports did you play?
From age 5 till I was a senior in high school, I was very athletic. I played softball, volleyball, basketball, soccer, I even took gymnastics, I danced, ran track, and I  was a cheerleader. Volleyball and softball were my favorite sports and I would have stuck with them and played in college, but when I got a job there was just very little free time and I had to quit.   

Tell us about your weekly exercise routine now.
My weekly exercise routine is about 20 minutes a day on the treadmill or stationary bike and then about 30 minutes of a mix of crunches, reverse sit-ups, and some weight lifting; 4 times a week.

What is your weekly diet like?
My weekly  diet now is just a little different than usual only because it is “bikini season”. For breakfast I’ll have yogurt or a bowl of cereal; lunch I really like chicken ceasar salads so that's normally what I’ll have; dinner I’ll have fish, steak (when I can), or if its something heavier I’ll try to eat earlier in the evening.

Have you done any modeling?
The only modeling that I have done has been a couple of photo shoots for Margo Blue, owner of The Tahitian Dayspa. I did one photo shoot with her back in October of 2004 and another in August of 2005.

How did you get into modeling?
I got into modeling through Margo. She had this idea for a photo shoot and she knew exactly what she wanted her models to look like and I guess I fit the image she wanted.

What are your health & fitness goals for the future?
My health and fitness goals for the future are to continue exercising and eating healthy because I know the moment that I don't is the moment that I am officially lazy.
