Bicycles South has been owned and managed by the same cycling enthusiasts since 1983. We are not just salesmen and competent technicians, we are also active cyclers and ride our bikes to and from work. Our huge 7,300-square-foot bicycle shop features all types of bicycles, bike helmets, and bike accessories for men, women, and children.

For the past eighteen years, Bike Virginia has brought tens of thousands of families and friends together for the largest multi-day bike tour in Virginia. We have grown significantly from 117 riders in 1988 to over 2000 riders in 2005.

With this success has come our ability to give back to the communities that have supported us. Bike Virginia, in association with BikeWalk Virginia, promotes bicycling education and safety through this annual event. Bike rodeos are held for children in the towns we visit and helmets are donated to the communities.
